Dr. Gary Swalsky Dr. Gary Swalsky graduated fromSkidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY in 1991 with Honors in Biology. He subsequently attended Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA where he graduated in 1995 near the top of his class. Since graduating, Dr. Swalsky has been committed to improving his knowledge and skills through numerous continuing education classes including comprehensive continuums in orthodontics,implantology and oral surgery. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the NY State Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the International Association of Orthodontics and the American Dental Implant Association. Dr. Swalsky has been practicing and residing in the Clifton Park/Halfmoon area for over 13 years and has been the owner of Halfmoon Family Dental since 1999. Dr. Swalsky is married to Summer and they have two children, Mia & Zander. When he is not working or spending time with his family,Dr. Swalsky can usually be found at a local ice rink playing hockey. |
Dr. Alex Shchipkov Dr. Alex Shchipkov graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Franklin Pierce College in New Hampshire. Originally from Belarus, he also attended Minsk State Medical Institute Faculty of Dentistry. Dr. Shchipkov believes that a comprehensive treatment plan is essential to successful treatment. Many people who want quality general dentistry or cosmetic dentistry also experience functional problems affecting their teeth and smiles. By incorporating the latest knowledge and technologies in dentistry Dr. Shchipkov is able to not only create beautiful smiles, but also expertly solve complex functional and biological problems that his patients may have. Dr. Shchipkov makes his patients' appointments a positive and comfortable experience by incorporating excellent clinical skills, compassion, understanding and sense of humor. Dr. Shchipkov takes ongoing continuing education courses in dentistry to stay up to date on new state of the art procedures and technologies. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Shchipkov and his wife Olga enjoy good food, traveling and racing cars with Sports Car Club of America. |
